University of Illinois and Chonnam National University collaborates to develop an adaptive learning analytics system that analyzes learning experiences and provides personalized feedback suited to learners’ states through the convergence of AI and XR technologies. By integrating AI-driven analytics with XR simulations, the system will analyze multimodal data and deliver collaborative and adaptive learning experiences in innovative XR simulation environments.
The ultimate goal of this project is to propose methods to enhance the learning effects of collaborative XR simulations in the healthcare domain, grounded in embodied cognition theory. Specifically, the study aims to develop an adaptive learning analytics system that leverages AI–XR convergence technologies to analyze learning experiences in real time and provide personalized feedback tailored to learners’ states.
