IMMERSE Graduate Student Council
The IMMERSE Graduate Student Council (IGSC) is an independent, student-run organization at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champiagn.
The council's core mission is to promote academic growth, career development, and community-building through a variety of events, while serving as a liaison between graduate students and IMMERSE leadership.
Building Student Leaders
Call for Leadership
Are you a graduate student passionate about immersive technologies, digital humanities, or interdisciplinary design? IGSC is looking for new members who want to shape the future of immersive computing at Illinois.
IGSC members organize seminars and workshops, connect students with faculty and industry leaders, and create opportunities for academic growth, career development, and community‑building.
If you’re ready to develop leadership skills, build collaborations, and expand the immersive‑computing community, we’d love to hear from you.
Spring 2025 Seminar Coordination Team
Thank you to our student leaders for assisting with the first semester of the IMMERSE center seminar series!
These students worked alongside IMMERSE center leadership to help define the goals of the series with the community, provided logistics support, and established workflows for future semester events.
