Robb Lindgren

Biography

Robb Lindgren is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Curriculum & Instruction whose research focuses on how people learn with interactive and immersive digital technologies. He has affiliate appointments at the Beckman Institute, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), the Informatics program in the iSchool, and the Center for Social & Behavioral Science (CSBS). He is also the Contextual Factors theme lead for IMMERSE.  Dr. Lindgren teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses pertaining to the design of immersive digital environments and the theories of learning and interactivity the pertain to their design. He has several externally funded projects focused on the design of virtual reality and augmented reality environments for learning.
